Phyllis Shearer

Phyllis Shearer, 88, of Johnsburg, Illinois formerly of Elmhurst, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 14th 2025. Loving mother of Ben Shearer and Nancy Wendt. Beloved grandmother of Nate (Isabelle) Wendt and Noah Wendt - they were the lights of her life. Dear sister to the late Robert Verba. Phyllis moved to New York wanting to be an aspiring actress. She got her bachelors later in life and worked as a writer, then wrote and published her first novel. Service information to be determined.
