Punsun Cho

Pun Sun Cho, 71, of Mount Prospect passed away on April 30th, 2023. She was beloved by all who were close to her, and played a huge part in raising everyone in the next generation of her family. Always having her kids in her mind and in her heart, she worried constantly and always looked out for her family. Taking the biggest step in the family history, she moved from the southern coast of South Korea and landed in Detroit with $7 in her pocket. She loved her way through life and persevered through many hardships to give her children all the kindness and lessons they would need to face life head on with love, just like her.

 

She is survived by her five loving children, Olivia Sun Kohler (Phillip), Kimoon Cho, Lorenzo Cho (Adalis), Keith Elias Goggins, and Ethan Kiyoung Cho. Cherished grandchildren Sumayah, Nathaniel, Maxwell, Zachary, and Theodore.
