Randy D.

Randy Edward Dean, 74, of Lombard, Illinois, peacefully passed away at his home on May 19, 2024.

Loving father of Jennifer (JD) Hoth and Lisa (Mike) Pasciak. Exceptionally loving grandfather to his grandchildren: Connor, Annabelle, Maddie, Logan, and Rosalie. Dearest brother to Carolynn, John, the late Michael and the late Paul. Randy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Barbara and Richard. A fond friend to many, he will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Randy treasured nothing more in this world than his cherished daughters and grandchildren, whom he loved unconditionally.  He had a soft spot for dogs and gave homes to many beloved pets over the years.  He studied astronomy and was very passionate about the stars and planets.  He loved taking pictures and it was rare that there was ever a family event where he did not have a camera in his hand to capture the memories that meant so much to him.  He was always light at heart and enjoyed putting a smile on everyone’s faces with his jokes.  And, of course, he was a loud, proud and loyal fan of the Chicago Bears.

We know he is now among the stars that he loved to study, at peace, watching over his family.  We hold tight to the memories we have and will keep him alive in our hearts always.
