Raymond Vercillo

Raymond F. Vercillo, 82, of Bull Valley, IL passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2026 surrounded by love of his family.

Ray will be lovingly remembered as a devoted father to Lisa (late Allen) Castello and Jason (Jennifer) Vercillo, a proud grandfather to Adam (Alyssa)Castello, Michelle (Steve) Van Ewyk, Justin Castello and Ryan (Morgan) Castello and great grandfather of 5. He was the beloved son of the late Emil and Antoinette Vercillo.

He is also survived by his former wife, Carol Vercillo. Though divorced, they were married for 37 years, and she lovingly helped care for him, a gift of compassion the family will always be grateful for.

He was a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him. His strength, quiet resilience, and love for his family will be deeply missed and remembered always.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
