Richard "Dick" F Wendt

Richard "Dick" F. Wendt, age 84, a Korean War Veteran, passed away May 28th, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith and Domenica. Loving father of Thomas and Daniel Wendt, stepfather to Brian, Douglas (Monica) and Kristopher (Litsa) Halverson. Father-In-Law to Jacey Calcagno. Adored grandfather to Charles (Sanella) Wendt, Christy (Stuart) Henrichs, Joseph Wendt, Waverly, Miranda, Adelaide, Shaun, Kalli, Nico and Taso Halverson. Great-grandfather of Maya, Benjamin and Safija Wendt. Brother-In-Law to Marge Wendt, and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Lillian Wendt as well as his brother, Leonard. A committal service will be held Tuesday, June 20th, at 11:30am promptly at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.
