Richard D. Filas, 82, of Chicago Illinois, peacefully passed on December 27th 2024. Richard was a retired Chicago Police Officer with 32 years of loyal service. Beloved husband of Justine for 61 amazing years. Loving dad of Richie, Paula (Jeff) and Michael. Cherished grandfather to Brian, Kevin and Sarah. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Inurnment private at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
