Richard Kanner

Richard Kanner, born on October 13, 1942, passed away on March 18, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-two years, Bonnie; loving son Mark (Christine) and stepchildren Brandon and Rachael;  cherished granddaughter Lia and treasured brother-in-law Glenn Crane, and cousin Gail Weinberger. Richard retired after a forty-five year career with the Chicago Board of Education. As an esteemed history teacher, he impacted the lives of many and would routinely take his students to Europe as part of an international studies program.
