Richard Albert Komperda

Richard Albert Komperda, 86, of Palatine, formerly of Chicago's Austin neighborhood, passed away on October 9, 2025. Loving father of Laura O'Bryan, Casey Greeson, Rick Komperda and Debbie Komperda. Adored grandpa of Chelsea (Kayin Moudy) Hughes and Trevor (Sara Knight) Bell and great grandpa to Gage Hughes. Cherished brother of Bill, Julie, Zak and is preceded in death by Thomas, Kenneth, Mary Ellen and James. Dear uncle and friend to many. Longtime manager of Bel-Park. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
