Richard P. Lara, 76, US Army Veteran of Park City, Illinois, passed away December 21, 2022. Beloved son of the late Richard P. Lara Sr. and the late Addie T. Lara. Dear brother of Gloria Benkendorf (née Lara). Treasured uncle of Bob Muise and Dr. Michael Muise; great-uncle to Ilyssa Muise and Bex Muise. Richard was a well-spoken and accomplished speech writer whose perceptive and kind spirit will be missed dearly.
