Rita Caroline Fors

Rita Caroline Fors (née Iverson), 85, of Crystal Lake, formerly of McHenry and Bettendorf IA, passed away on June 27, 2026. Doting wife of Lawrence Fors for 62 loving years. Cherished mother of Steve (Leslie Schmidt) Fors, Sherri (David) Modrzejewski, Chad (Julie) Fors. Adored grandmother of Bryan (Jessica) Fors, Justin (Noel) Forest, Teagan Fors, Danielle (Tyler) Simmons, Jacob Modrzejewski, Tyler Modrzejewski, Aiden Modrzejewski and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Patricia (Larry) Dail, James (Shirley) Iverson and the late Patricia. Loved friend of many. Longtime watercolor painter and confectioner.
