Rita Eleanor Sherman

Rita Sherman, 92, of Elk Grove Village, IL, passed away peacefully on May 31st 2025. Beloved wife to Jerry Sherman for 49 blessed years. Loving mother to Kathy Voigt, Mark (JoJo) Sherman, and Lori (David) Atherton. Dear grandma to Taylor (Joe) Muska, Courtney Sherman, Katie Atherton and Megan Atherton. Cherished sister to Jean Sommers (Gabriel Bultnick), Robert Mousel and Warren (Ann) Mousel. Rita loved to read, all things sports, and any and all dogs. The family would like to have any donations made to the American Heart Association.

A mass and celebration of Rita’s life will be announced after plans are finalized.
