Robert L Linear

Robert Lafayette Linear was born in East Tallassee Alabama on November 11, 1933. In 1936 Roberts parents relocated the family to Chicago, Illinois. He attended and graduated from Wendell Phillips High School. He worked as an insurance salesman Serving the greater Chicago area for over 20 years.

Both his Father: Linear, Lafayette Robert (5/25/2007) and Mother: Linear, Lucy V (9/7/2005) preceded him in death.

Robert was the second child. All of his seven siblings preceded him in death. Doris Jean (Linear) Anderson, Twins – James Ellis and Mary Ellen (Linear) Segrest, William Charles Linear, Peggy Ann (Linear) Burden, Elaine (Linear) Williams, and Thomas Linear.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carrie Linear (01/07/2022) of 49 years.and beloved son Steven Linear (01/31/2022).

Robert is survived by his children Andrea (Linear) Simmons (the late Milton), Larcetta Linear, Lafayette Linear (Felicia), Myrtle Mercie Linear, Lise Linear, Mona (Linear) O’Bryant (James), Denise Linear (Grant), Sharon Linear, Lois k Linear and Desarae L Crofts; and stepchildren Audrey Garrett, Charles Galloway, Edwin Galloway and Dexter Galloway. A host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren and Great-great grand Children.
