Just learned about this. So sorry. I knew Bob growing up and he was a friend of the family. We went to the archery range a few times and on an archery trip to northern Wisconsin many years ago.

Throughout most of my life, I always heard Bob refered to as \"Elmo\" or \"L-Ron\" ( I only figured out the whole LOTR connection later) he and my dad, Barry were nerds together. Bob would pop by on occasion , but he wasn\'t the typical alcoholic musician regular who might spend the night passed out on our floor after a night of jamming. Bob would send my parents grand invitations with drawings and calligraphy. He was always a mysterious character to me, until my dad died.

When my dad died, Bob and I began to hang out a bit. He took an interest in my creative endeavors and came out to film my shows. He and I nerded out about technology, mysticism, sound, and light. I liked hanging out with him because he reminded me of my father, and I\'m pretty sure he liked hanging out with me because I reminded him of my father as well.

He was always nice to me, fun and the adult in the room when one needed to be there. Not a bad word could I say about him. Will be missed, sadly. ♥

Very sorry to learn this. Bob was smart, wise, strong, generous and amazingly creative. He was a talented artist and always busy with something interesting. He was very insightful, with a piercing sense of humor. We were close friends for thirty years and shared aome interesting experiences. We did have a falling out which wasn't ever really patched up, and I regret that a great deal. Warmest condolences to his family. Isildur.
