Robert Edward Tharpe

Robert Edward Tharpe, born April 24th 1951 to parents Josephine and George Tharpe, who proceeded him in death.

Robert received Christ at an early age. He attended Harper High School in Chicago, Illinois and Roosevelt University for his educational endeavors.

Robert was employed by Acme Steel for 29 years until the close of the buisness.

Robert was loved and known by his family and close friends as "superman"

He leaves to cherish his wife of 51 year Lawana Tharpe; his sister Deborah Aiken of Hazel, Ky. His children Terri, who proceeded him in death, Noell of Paris, TN; Crystal and Jamail of Chicago, Il. His grandchildren: Romello, Anthony, Ajonte, Cheyanne, Jamesha, and Emoni. Great-Grandchildren Cardiana and Isaiah. Good friend of John Merriweather of Chicago, Il. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
