Robert Franklin Walsh

Robert Franklin Walsh, 77, of Rolling Meadows, formerly of Des Plaines, after a brief illness, peacefully entered into eternal life January 30, 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Felicia Antoinette Delgado Walsh. Loving father of Christine (Ivan) Rodriguez and Jennifer Walsh. Cherished grandpa of Nadia and Jack. Felicia's daughters, Rachel (Jamie) and Michelle (Dustin) and their children, Britton, Penny, and Lucy were close to his heart too.  Proceeded in death by his beloved parents, James Albert Walsh and Margaret Helen Slama Walsh and his siblings,the late James Walsh II (Charlene), Jeanne Walsh Franz (Norman), and Mary Walsh Stuker (Duane). A fond uncle and friend to many, he will be deeply missed.

Robert loved spending time with Felicia and his daughters and grandchildren, steam engines, being a salesman, learning about ways to make money, animals, the town he grew up in - Des Plaines, Lake Geneva, and the Botanic Gardens, and talking on the phone.  He also loved reminiscing about when he was growing up, especially about steam engine train rides that his dad took him on when he was a young boy.
