Roger Carl Allen Jr., 65, U.S. Army veteran of Decatur, IL, formerly of Savanah, GA & San Antonio, TX, passed away October 20, 2022.

Loving father of Reita Welker, Christopher and Tamara Allen, Marvyn Allen, Samantha and Eric Keller, Michael and Abigail Allen. Caring grandfather of Kaitlyn and Adam Kelly, Sunny Welker, Jawan and Jenna Pearson, Christian Allen, Olivia Allen, Jasmyn and Austin Tull, Matthew, Adilynn and Joshua Keller, Chase and Tanner Allen. Cherished brother of Brenda Burwell, Cheryl and  Terry Wiseley.

After retiring from serving in the U.S. Army, Roger enjoyed fishing and taking his beloved dog, Redd, for walks. He was a good man whose generosity was evident through his decision to be a life-giving organ & tissue donor with Gift of Hope. He was a great friend to many and will be dearly missed.
