Roger Pray, 69, of Chicago's Bucktown passed away on March 4th, 2025.

Devoted husband to Carolyn Pray for 34 years. Cherished brother to Willard A. Pray, Jacquline Dawson, and the late Jerome Pray. Beloved son to the late Willard and Eleanore Pray. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

In his college years, Roger played hockey at Lane Tech and went on to play as the goalie at University of Montana. His love for hockey carried on throughout his entire life. In his free time, Roger enjoyed many hobbies such as flying planes, stained glass art and was an avid animal lover.

He went on to serve in the United States Air Force for 5 years and The Reserve for 4 years. Later in life, Roger spent many years employed as an engineer for water reclamation and at CPS Schools.

His strong personality, determination, consideration and generosity towards other is something that touched the hearts of many.
