Ronald Anthony Demars

Ronald Anthony Demars, 89, of Niles, Illinois passed away on October 11, 2021 in Arlington Heights, IL.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 13 at 9:15am with a 10:00am mass to follow at St. Juliana’s Parish. 7201 N Oketo Ave, Chicago.

Ronald was born in Chicago to Henry and Adeline Dymarkowski on April 10, 1932. He attended St. Wenceslaus School and graduated from Weber High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Air Force. Ronald married Barbara, his love and dance partner in life, on February 7, 1959. They had three children: Ron, Karen, and David. Ronald is preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara (Opel). He is survived by his children, Ronald H (Janis) Demars, Karen (Robert) Iovino, and David Demars. Brother to Daniel Dymarkowski, brother-in-law to Jerald Peters, Claudia (Charles) Frost, and Joan Opel. Loving Grandfather (Papa) to Nicholas (Tanya) Iovino, Matthew Iovino, Jamie (Mike) OBrill, Jessica Demars, Jake Demars, Kelli Iovino, Samantha Demars, and Jade Demars. Great Grandfather to Quinn, Charlotte, Cali, and Harper. Uncle and cousin to many.

The family of Ronald Demars wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to the Covid floor nurses and medical staff at Northwest Community Hospital, as well as the Journey Care Hospice for all of their support and compassion during this difficult time.
