Ronald's dedication to public service was evident throughout his career as a dispatcher for the Lake Forest Police Department. With unwavering commitment and a calm demeanor, he played a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community he served. His professionalism and reliability earned him the respect of his colleagues and the gratitude of those he served.

In addition to his service as a dispatcher, Ronald also selflessly volunteered as a firefighter for the city of Lake Forest. He embraced the challenges that came with protecting and preserving lives and property, always ready to respond to emergencies with courage and determination. Ronald's acts of bravery and heroism will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Ron was always joking around with everyone and pranking them. He also gave everyone a nickname and was always a positive person.

Ronald is survived by his sisters Charlene Caruso, Doreen Rugar, Cindy Fontana, Janet Fontana, as well as his brother John(Nancy) Fontana. Their bond was built on precious memories shared together that will forever be treasured by each family member.

Throughout his life journey, Ronald found solace in the companionship of his four-legged friend, Walker. Their loyal and loving relationship provided him with comfort and warmth, reminding him of the simple joys that can be found in the presence of a beloved pet.

The loss of Ronald John Fontana will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to public service, love for his family, and passion for the New York Yankees will forever remain in our hearts. He will be remembered as a man of honor, integrity, and kindness.
