Rosabeth Go Chieng

December 30, 1959 — November 4, 2022

Rosabeth Chieng, 62, Rolling Meadows, IL, passed away due to cardiac
arrest, November 4, 2022, at The Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington
Heights, IL.

Rosabeth was born on December 30, 1959, to Kun and Rosa Go in
Manila, Philippines. Rosabeth and Raymond owned a textile store in Manila. Beth worked at WalMart, a Chicago O’Hare Airport concession, and an AMC Theatre.

In September, 1985, Beth met Hie Chan (Raymond) Chieng in Manila and
they married July 26, 1987. Their only child, Harry, was born in 1994. Harry
graduated from Nothern Illinois University and continues to live in DeKalb, IL.
Rosabeth dedicated her life to caring for Raymond and Harry. She suffered
a stroke in 2010, which left her legally blind. Rheumatoid arthritis in both knees
and ankles limited her mobility, but not her spirit. Beth maintained her home
while Raymond worked two jobs as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and Harry
pursued dual college degrees. Rosabeth frequently visited her mother for their
mutual healthcare needs. Beth relished playing solitaire every visit with Rose.

As a youth, Rosabeth loved to walk and dance. She loved a visit to Hong
Kong, where she met her husband’s family. Additional sites included Hong Kong’s Big Buddha, Macau, Baguio City, Bangkok, Taipei, and numerous USA sights.

Beth was preceded in death by her Father, Kun, and her youngest brother, Philip, both in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. She is survived by her husband, Hie Chan, Rolling Meadows, IL, and her mother, Rosa, Des Plaines, IL, her son, Harry, DeKalb, IL, sisters, Rosalinda Gibson, Hayward, CA, Rosana Sy, Los Angeles, CA, Maryrose Zimmer, Des Plaines, IL, and brother, Peter Go, Manila, Philippines.

Rosabeth will be interred in the Kun Go family crypt, Manila Memorial Cemetery.

Aftercare entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, IL
