Rosalie Mary Rose (née Satkowski), 82, of Wilmette, Illinois, at rest March 18, 2022. Rosalie is survived by her loving children Stacey Day and Michael Rose and her cherished grandchildren Mia, Julia, Luke, Cassidy and Ellsworth. Retired proprietor and interior designer at Rosalie Rose Interiors.
Rosalie Mary Rose was an enthusiastic interior designer, a loving Mom, and a fine needle pointer. She loved travel, especially to London with her friends who loved antiquing. As a Mom, she would drive her children all over the midwest for figure skating competitions and hockey games. Rosalie attended French cooking school and was a fine chef. She cooked short ribs and sauerkraut every year on New Year’s Day for good luck. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
