Roy Klein

Roy Klein, 84,  of Schaumburg, Illinois and formerly of Hoffman Estates, peacefully passed June 27, 2024. Roy worked for decades as an electronics engineer.  In 1969, the highlight of his career came when he had an integral role in developing the lunar module which launched Apollo 11. He was a devout volleyball player and enjoyed tending to the vegetables in his garden Roy and his family created many cherished memories throughout the years as he loved to travel. Whether it was visiting another country or camping around North America, Roy enjoyed this time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. 

Roy is survived by is beloved wife of 59 years, Kay Klein; loving sons Kevin (Melissa) Klein, Michael (Katie) Klein and Jason (Beth) Klein; treasured grandchildren Emma, Harper, Andrew, Alex and Avery. Roy was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Klein.
