     A Poem :

Griffin Was a Loving Husband

Griffin was, Griffin was,

Griffin wasn't hard to please.

For his wife he'd cross the sees.

Griffin would say,” just let me be me.”

Griffin Loved music and danced for his wife.

With Mila Celeste Griffin he would gladly spend his life.

Griffin was a hard working man, a Lover, a brother , a father and a good friend.

With a heart filled with love for his family and friends.

Griffin didn't understand a life without Mila .

In the hospital bed it was hard to see you.

A man without his’ wife I wouldn't want to be you.

He said to his wife, “I would never deceive you.”

Griffin Loved and accepted God the Father & God the Son as his personal savior.

He truly believed that God was watching over him and taking care of him every day.

He knew that God was the way.

Everyday Griffin would pray.

God remembered Griffin, and seen him in his grief, he came to get him out of his sleep. Come on Griffin, you can be with me!

We all love Griffin and miss Griffin very much, but he's in a better place.

And all those good memories stay with us.

Griffin is survived by his lovely wife Mila Celeste Holmes Griffin, his God given daughter Alexis Holmes and host other family and friends. He proceeds his brother Gregory Griffin, his mother Lucy Glen and his father Robert Griffin. He attended high-school at Wendell Phillips where he graduated and went to junior college. Then he went to work for the Chicago Housing Authority where he got promoted and spent his later years working for Chicago public schools as a supervisor in maintenance. After retiring he loved spending time listening to a vast collection of vinyl records, taking long drives and visiting family and friends. His infectious personality will forever be truly missed.

John 14 v 1-3

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

2Corithians 5 v 8

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

John 11 vs 25

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Rest In God, who gives you peace that surpass your understanding ️
