Ruth Ann Luke

Ruth Ann Luke, resident of Northbrook Illinois for over fofty years, passed away on October 26, 2021. Beloved wife of George Luke for fifty-six years. Loving mother of Todd (Maria) Luke and Scott (Marie) Luke. Devoted grandmother of Leydi, Marco, George and Christiana and great-grandmother of Natalia and Sofia. Preceded in death by her patrents Joseph and Ruth Starke, brother Joseph Charles "Chuck" Starke  and sister-in-law Anne. Longtime preschool director of early childhood programs and teacher at Lake Forest Country Day School. Volunteer senior high leader with husband George at Village Presbyterian Church of Northbrook, where they are both members for nearly fifty years. Ruth enjoyed vacations in Clam Lake, ski trips, conoeing and working at Saugatuck Camp alongside her husband.  Donations may be made in Ruth's memory to journeycare https://journeycare.org
