Sandra Joyce Mize

Sandra Joyce Mize, 81, of Chicago, formerly Louisville KY, passed away on November 17, 2025. 

Throughout her life she enjoyed creating art, bicycling, listening to music, and dancing. She was known by the health care workers who supported her as "feisty momma", her sense of humor will be missed by everyone. 

She enjoyed life's adventures and traveled extensively throughout the United States.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Retha Gladys Penlack and beloved grandparents Oscar and Ethel Bennett Fuson. 

She is survived by her devoted daughter Retha Lee Mize and brother Lee Penlack.
