Sandra Simmons Hill Robinson was born August 29, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan. Sandra passed away peacefully at the hospital after complications of heart
surgery. She was the only child born to C. LeBron Simmons, Esq. and Elizabeth Duncan Simmons Henderson Moore. Sandra attended Howard University,
Washington, D.C. Sandra was a paralegal and had a long career as an executive at the National Bar Association, Chicago, Ill. After retiring she dedicated her time to many community service organizations. Sandra was especially dedicated to the awareness, prevention and counseling for domestic violence. She was the liaison for the community and the Chicago Police Department for community affairs. Sandra was active as a community organizer for her neighborhood, and she was a member of several social organizations. Her hobby was playing bridge. Sandra was married to Carl H. Hill in Detroit, Mi.; they had one son Dorian Hill-
Robinson. She was later married to Donald Robinson and they moved to Chicago. Sandra is predeceased in death by her parents and husband Donald Robinson, and brother Charles LeBron Simmons, II. She is survived by her son Dorian Hill-Robinson, daughter Wisteria Thompson, Granddaughter Vanessa Vajko, her brother Larry Simmons, Sr. nephew Jamal Simmons, cousins Penelope Wise, Warren Davis Jr., Whitney Davis, of Morristown, NJ and a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.
