Palatine

Scott Edmund Town, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on March 9, 1954, Scott lived a life marked by creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for nature.

As a skilled carpenter, he spent decades turning wood into works of art, transforming simple materials into functional pieces that were both beautiful and practical. His passion for his craft was evident in every project he undertook, and he took great pride in his ability to create and build. Scott's dedication to his work was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. He found peace and joy in gardening, camping, and kayaking, where he embraced the beauty of nature.

Scott was a talented musician, often found playing his guitar, filling his home and the hearts of those around him with melodies that reflected his zest for life. His creativity extended beyond carpentry; Scott had a natural flair for inventiveness that inspired all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Dane Town (née Mouzakis), and his cherished children, Rebecca Luellen and Gregory (Kelsey) Town. He was also a proud grandfather to Michael Luellen, Isaiah Luellen, Olivia Luellen, Ellis Town, and Audrey Town, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

Scott's loving spirit will be greatly missed by his siblings, Steve (Vicki) Town and Cliff (Erin) Town. Their bonds were filled with laughter, support, and shared memories that will live on in their hearts.

As we remember Scott Edmund Town, we celebrate a man whose life was a testament to hard work, love, and creativity. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and touch the lives of those he loved.
