Shari DeKoven Sommers, age 60. Beloved wife and best friend of Lawrence E. Sommers, devoted mother of Jeremy Blaise Sommers, cherished sister of Benjamin DeKoven, Ronna DeKoven and Diana "Kato" Marks (nee DeKoven), dear aunt of Florence DeKoven Guevara (Christopher), Melissa DeKoven, Tiernan McDonnel (Michaela), Patrick McDonnell, Louis DeKoven, Alexander Yant, Darraugh McDonnell and Aaron Marks. Fond great aunt of Ezra Guevarra, LeRon Guevarra and Malaya Guevarra. Dear sister in law of Beverly DeKoven, Gwen Yant (R.D.), Laurel McDonnell and Martin Marks. Cherished friend to many. Devoted member of the Illinois Bar and Sing To Live Choir. Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Temple Beth-El, 3610 Dundee Road, Northbrook, IL, 60062 on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Sing To Live Choir will be appreciated. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in a private service.
