Sharon Foody

Sharon Foody (née Hale), age 56, of Otisville, New York and formerly of Florida, passed away unexpectedly in South Elgin (where she had been living for the past year) on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Loving mother of Rebecca Foody, John Foody, Thomas Foody and Zachary Foody. Cherished grandmother of Emily, Sophie and Ryan. Dear sister of Scarlett Stone (Light), David Light, Joanna Meyers (Light) and Rita Chapman (Hale). Fond aunt, cousin and friend to many. Survived by mother Jolynn Light. Preceded in death by father C David Light. Sharon was a lively woman, was warm and personable! She adored movies and listening to music from all genres! She had a beautiful singing voice that she loved to use to praise Christ. She leaves behind many friends, family and her children who will continue the traditions she loved and will always honor her memory through that which she cared for the most. A time of remembrance will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3 pm at Riverside Pizza and Pub, South Elgin, Illinois.
