Sharon Diane Gomez

Sharon Diane Gomez, 68, passed away unexpectedly on June 11th, 2023. She was born in Los Angeles, California to the union of Pearl Lazenby Gomez and Juan Gomez. She was retired after having worked over 20 years as a CNA, and she was also proud of her employment as a meter reader for Commonwealth Edison. She had a fiery spirit and a wonderful laugh. If she loved you, she loved you with all of her heart. She would be the first to call and check on you. She lived a hard life but loved harder. She loved to cook, dance, listen to music, play bingo and push her luck at the casino. She will truly be missed. She leaves behind two children, Timothy Gomez (Jamie) and Trina Brown. Two grandchildren, Simone and Gabrielle Allen. Four siblings, Debra Gomez, Sheila James-Rush (Donald), Carol Suzette Jackson (Kendall) and Stacey Taylor Woods (Jesse). She also had two siblings that preceded her in death, Bruce Kenneth Gomez and John Taylor lll. She leaves to mourn two nephews that were a big part of her life, Michael Paul Gomez, Bobby Ray James and a host of caring family and friends.
