On February 18, 1968, the late Ethel and late Levi Jackson, Jr. were the vessels to grace this world with the presence of a beautiful baby girl, Sherrylon La'Tressa Jackson.
Her debut, her courses and paths, and her graceful exit were all divinely designed to display her eventful life's journey.
To know her was to know the love she had for her family. The first in her family's generation to begin the parent to an only child trend with her sisters, she raised a beautiful daughter, the spitting image of herself, Dominique N. Jackson. She was known as MoMo (Mother Once Removed) to her only grandchild that she spoke so highly of to all she encountered, her granddaughter, Trinity N. Jackson.
Tressa, as her siblings lovingly called her leaves behind an older sister, Nichelle P. Jackson (son, Daniel), brother Anthony F. Brown (daughters Cortney and Cameron and sons DeShaun and Dante), and younger sisters, Dana M. Jackson (daughter, Dazani), and Lora E. Jackson (daughter, Mireya), her older Cousin/Sister Gayla Redmond, and Tressa's significant other Britt Jones. Tressa also leaves behind her grandmother, Willie Lee Jackson, her aunts, uncles, cousins and a plethora of extended family.
Her neighbors and her community were included in her extended family, and all who encountered Tressa were positively impacted by her intelligence, humor, and genuine care and love.
