Soren R. Jensen, 97, of Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood and formerly of Denmark, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family October 15, 2023. Beloved husband of the lat Charmaine (2023). Loving father of Esther Jensen-Avery and the late Alice and Victoria Jensen. Cherished grandfather of Soren Brose, Jesse Avery, Portius Brose, Rachel Avery, Rebekah Fiedler, Scott Fiedler, Hannah Fiedler and Len Avery; great-grandfather of Anthony Plaza, Aksel Plaza, Marley Avery, Max Avery, Nicholas Avery, Jacob Avery and Isabella. Treasured godfather of Nicolette Ramos. Soren is survived by 2 brothers and was preceded in death by 5 brothers. A private memorial service to be held; details pending.
