Stephanie Wells

Stephanie Jean Wells, born on August 15, 1973, in Oak Lawn, passed away on June 23, 2026. Her passing is felt deeply by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Stephanie dedicated her life to the pursuits and passions that brought her joy and meaning. Stephanie loved many things and people in her life, nature, gardening, crafts, sewing, her family, & her many cats and dogs throughout the years. She was widely known for her creativity and skill in sewing, creating countless tutus that brought smiles to many. Her love of collecting crystals further reflected her appreciation for beauty and detail in the world around her.

Stephanie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Alissa Kurowski, and her son, Robbie Kurowski & their dogs, Sunny & Rusty. She is also survived by her father, Michael Wells, and her brother, Michael Wells. Their lives are testament to her enduring impact and the bonds she cherished deeply. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary.

A visitation to honor Stephanie’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Nelson Funeral Home, located at 820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068.

Throughout her life, Stephanie demonstrated warmth, dedication, and passion in all she did. Her memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved her and all who shared in her creative spirit and generosity.
