Susann E Manning

Susann Manning nee ClarkButterworth, born on October 19, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her home on May 20, 2026. Sue was a beautician for several years but was renown for working the front desk at Mid-Town Tennis Club. She loved to play tennis. She was a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan who loved making people laugh with her joke telling abilities and enjoyed drinking an ice cold stein of beer. In her later years she truly loved to sit outside on her porch swing, say hello to passersby and give the neighbors dogs dog treats. All animals loved Sue. She is survived by her husband, John Manning of 35 years; her daughter, Michele (Chad), grandchildren: Samantha, Meghan and Sean. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Bob and June Clark, brother Bob and brother Michael. Her smile, sense of humor and warm heart will be greatly missed.
