Terry Lynn Basye Sr.,78 of Northbrook, IL & Fountain, FL (formerly from Beloit,WI) Passed away surrounded by his children on April 23, 2023. Terry was born in Platteville, WI to Clifford L Basye & Cleo A Martens Basye. Terry graduated from Iowa Grant High School with the class of 1963. He was very proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps where he served a tour of duty in VietNam.
Terry loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, The Green Bay Packers, Nascar, cooking, & watching old Westerns. He was a strong man that faced many challenges with a strong desire to overcome them. Terry was a skilled Carpenter & Cabinet maker with a keen eye for design.
Terry is survived by his children, Terry Lynn Basye Jr., Jennifer Anderson (Paul) & Michelle Basye. Grandchildren, Ashley Card, Amber Huston (DJ) Aimee Schilb (Paul) Grandsons, Devin Basye & Greysen Hatch. Great Grand Children, Hazel Huston, Eleanor Schilb & Baeleigh Card. He is also survived by mother of his children Susan Basye & Sisters Angie Roum (Vernon) & Eleanea Sippola (Don) & Brother Steven Basye (Karen) Terry was predeceased by his parents Cleo & Clifford Basye & one Brother Clifford D. Basye
He will be greatly missed!
A Celebration of Life will be held July 2, 2023 at American Legion Post 209 in Orfordville, WI.
From 12pm - 4pm with a 21 Gun Salute commencing at 2pm.
