Tetyana Apalkova

Tetyana Apalkova, 54, of Forest Park formerly of Ivano-Frankivsk Ukraine and Chicago, passed away on November 17, 2025. Adored mother of Anastasiya Apalkova. Cherished sister of Iryna Zhmuryk. Beloved daughter of Roman and Mariya Babechko. Dear friend to many. Longtime Caregiver. Tetyana enjoyed knitting and cooking, finding joy in creating things with her hands and sharing meals with those she loved. Above all, she was a devoted Christian, whose faith guided her throughout her life. She will be deeply missed.

A service will be held for anyone that would like to come on Saturday November 29th at 11:00am at Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church 739 N Oakley Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612.

Lunch will be held at the church afterwards. Please note that each person will be responsible for their own meal and beverages (~$40 including tip).
