Theresa Lillian Pennington

Theresa Lillian Pennington (née Sciortino), 86, of the Northwest Side of Chicago, at rest on February 16, 2020. Loving mother of Jeff (Diane) Pennington, Tina (John) Jannetto and the late Diane (the late Tom Martens) Pennington. Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Chris) Griffith, Michael (Guadalupe) Pennington, Rachel (Erik) Bruner, Niki (Karl) Regalado, Andrea Machak, Marci (John) Dolan and a host of great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Maria and a host of siblings. Theresa is remembered by her family as having a big heart. She was a cat lover who was passionate about saving the lives of animals and protecting them against cruelty. A celebration of her life will be held privately.
