IM STILL THERE (poem by his daughter)
My days was filled with laughter and joy.
My nights was filled with excitement
My heart was full
My life is complete.
You can shed those tears but don't feel sadness for me.
I will be off still dancing to the beat.
You can't see me or hug me but I'm still there
A nudge on your shoulder
Laughter in your ear
Wind that flows through
I'm still there
You can shed those tears but don't feel sadness for me
I'll be smiling so hard shining like the sun
Covering you in your days of doubt like the clouds filling the sky
My spirit will fill you up when you think of me
I will help you rise above your doubts and fears
Because though my body is gone my spirit is still there
I'm still there
Anytime You hear the music flowing just know that's where I'll be going
You hear that ball beating on the concrete
It's me
Happy and free.
My days was filled with laughter and joy
My nights was filled with excitement
My heart was full
My life is complete.
