Vashion T Freeman

Vashion Freeman, 49, of Chicago, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2023. Vashion was the beloved brother of Leonard Freeman, Robert (Juanta) Freeman and Bolaji Ogunyemi (Bradley), Kaylen Bell, and Ron Bell.  He grew up in uptown and attended Sen Academy where he played basketball.  He was also the fiancee of Petrice Bradley and loving father of Eric, Deontay, and Nefferteriora.  He was the beloved grandfather of Deontay, Jr., Kasen, Taylor, Taylen and Egypt as well as many nieces and nephews. Vashion attened Barber school and started the business "Cuts on the Pull-up", a mobile barber clinic that was a great fit for people who needed to have their haircut during the COVID-19 pandemic lock-down.  He had a great passion for cutting hair and was known for his taper.  Vashion also loved Hip Hop music.  He was quite the historian of Hip-Hop and was not afraid to share this knowledge with all.  K.R.S. was one of his favorites.  He will be missed by many family and friends.
