Verne Wilbert Dein, Navy Veteran, 71, of Wheaton, formerly of River Grove, passed away after a brief illness on November 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Lynette McGee for 40 years. Adored father of Jennifer Farino and step father of Michael (Shawna) McGee and Jason (Brandi) McGee. Cherished grandpa of Carlita McGee, Marissa McGee, Kiara McGee and the late Janet Horn and great grandpa "papa" of Dominic, Kasha, Rhiannon and Kellen. Dear brother of Len (Anna) Dein and Gloria Carson the late Geraldine Schultz. Fond uncle and friend to many. A service will be held November 24th at Gospellife Chapel (1N100 Gary Ave Carol Stream, IL 60188) starting at 11a.
