Verne Wilbert Dein, Navy Veteran, 71, of Wheaton, formerly of River Grove, passed away after a brief illness on November 18, 2025. Beloved husband of Lynette McGee for 40 years. Adored father of Jennifer Ferino and step father of Michael (Shawn) McGee and Jason (Brandi) McGee. Cherished grandpa of Carlita McGee, Marissa McGee, Kiara McGee and the late Janet McGee and great grandpa "papa" of Dominic, Kasha, Rhiannon and Kellen. Dear brother of Len (Anna) Dein and Gloria Dein. Fond uncle and friend to many. A service will be held November 24th at Gospellife Chapel (600 Kuhn Road. Carol Stream, IL 60188) starting at 11a.
