Walter Edward Sowa, age 96, US Army Veteran of Chicago's West Town neighborhood, at rest February 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Sydelle (2015). Loving father of Scott Sowa and Carole (Donald) Kash. Cherished grandfather of Helen and Andrew. Dear brother of Mary (the late Raymond) Garrison. Walter was preceded in death by several brothers. Retired CPS teacher.
