Wanda Jean Pena, 72, of Harwood Heights, Illinois and formerly of Chicago's Logan Square area, passed away after a long illness November 20, 2022. Loving mother of Natalie Wood, Michele (Marco) Garcia, Melissa (Drummond) Sanchez and Samantha (Wayne) Parks. Cherished grandma of Isaiah, Ava, Nathaniel, Isis, Noah and Madison. Dear friend to many.

She retired from UIC College of Dentistry. She loved going to the gym and planning her next beach vacation, pedicures and coloring her hair to match her feisty attitude. She had an incredible memory when it came to birthdays and special events. She loved decorating for the holidays,playing Monopoly and watching horror movies.She was exceptional at grammar and spelling. Her daughters and grandchildren were her life. Services private.
