Wardell L. Small, 77, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Oak Park, IL passed away, after a long battle with cancer, on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Beloved Husband of Cherie (Green) for fifty-eight years. Loving Father of Chad Sr. (Elizabeth), Jon Patrick (Rebecca) and Lynette. Cherished grandfather of Chad II, Arielle, Darien, Jordan, Haley, and Lailah; great grandfather of Quentin, Aiden and Kayden. Wardell was a Shoe Salesman for over 50 years, formerly for Florsheim’s, Joseph’s, Bloomingdales, and Marshall Field’s. He retired in 2009 from Neiman Marcus. He loved his work! He leaves to mourn many family, friends and loved ones. Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
