Warren Espinosa, of the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago, passed away after a courageous 15-year battle with ALS.
A proud Chicagoan through and through, Warren knew the city like the back of his hand and was often described as a walking GPS of Chicago. He was a devoted fan of the White Sox and Blackhawks and had a lifelong appreciation for theater, musicals, concerts, movies, and opera. An exceptional chef, he loved preparing meals for those he cared about and was also an unpublished author whose creativity reflected his quick wit and unique perspective on life. He was a Man of integrity giving excellent service through his working career.
Warren shared 20 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bernadette. He is also survived by his sisters, Rhodonna Espinosa and Linnea March.
His family finds comfort in all the great memories he created with the people with he loved, especially the last 25 being in partnership with his beloved Wife.
Bernadette lovingly described Warren as "a courageous man who gave ALS a run for its money for 15 years." His strength, patience, resilience, humor, Smart fast funny responses, along with his love of life will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Children's.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
