William Conner

February 8, 1952 — August 13, 2022

William Conner, 70, of Chicago and formerly of Clarksdale, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022 at The Montclare Supportive Living Community Lawndale in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his loving mother and father; Sirleaner Wilson and William Conner Sr; beloved brother; Ezell Wilson; two beloved sisters; Bessie and Clementine Conner.

He moved to Chicago, Illinois with his mother and siblings in 1963. 

There, he attend three elementary schools; Leaf Erickson, Skinner, and Hess. Three high schools; Manley, Farragut, and Kelly High School at night. During his freshman year in high school, he worked at Montgomery Ward as a shoe salesman.

William (Slim; Will Kill) was well-known wherever he went. He loved his family and would do anything for them. He enjoyed singing old school songs in a group with his cousins. 

On August 27, 2022, there will be a wake from 10:00-11:00am, followed by the Funeral from 11:00-12:00. Services will be occurring at Douglas Park Baptist Church, 1840 S. Kedzie, Chicago, IL 60623. 

All arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
