Wlodzimierz Wlodek Wander

Wlodzimierz "Wlodek" Wander of Belmont Cragin formerly of Lodz, Poland passed away on November 29, 2020. Wally was a loving father of Dominika Wikrent, Annette Wander, Bianca Wander and Claudia Wander. Cherished Dziadek of Julia and Amy. Dear brother of Bogumila Wander. Former proprietor of Cardinal Club (Belmont and Laramie) Wlodzimierz was a life long saxophone player in the Wanderband and Polanie Band. He played with the greatest Polish and American musicians in his Wanderband, and his club was known for the best live music among Chicago nightclubs. His love and natural talent for music allowed him to tour during the 60's and 70's with many artist including The Animals, Edith Piaf, Stevie Wonder and Dionne Warwick. He will be greatly missed by many.
