Yolanda J. Paredes

Yolanda J. Paredes, 79, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, formerly of Quito, Ecuador, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026.

Yolanda was a loving and devoted wife to Saul Anibal for 32 blessed years. She was the beloved mother of Jenny P. Perez (Ramiro Perez) and Carla S. Paredes (Carlos Altamirano). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Alex, Katie, Adrian, Ernie, Chelsea, Kenia, Ramiro Jr., and Brianna, and a loving great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren.

Yolanda was also a dear sister to Piedad, Efrain, Teresa, Elsa, and Hector. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, deep faith, and the love she shared so generously with her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Yolanda’s life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Rd., Park Ridge, IL 60068.

She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
